Dr. Barry graduated from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Barry and his wife Sara have a son named Cade and a daughter named McKinley. Sara is an elementary school teacher. The family enjoys the rural area, especially all of the outdoor activities. Dr. Barry loves the variety that a mixed animal practice provides every day.
Dr. Jill has always had a love for animals and an interest in medicine. She graduated from UC Davis with an emphasis in equine medicine. Baileys welcomed her into the family back in 2007 and we haven't had a dull moment since. She always loves coming to work and keeps the clients and staff on their toes with her quick wit and positive personality.
She and her husband Eric moved to Oregon along with their furry family members. They have 3 Basset Hounds (Squeaky, Pickles and Bogie), 1 cat (grey Goose) and 2 horses (Sugar and ChaCha). Dr. Jill is an avid equestrian and is active in the Umpqua Valley CT and Dressage Club.Her favorite charity organizations are Oregon Basset Hound Rescue and Strawberry Mountain Mustangs.Eric and Jill love living here in Oregon and enjoy hiking in the forest with their dogs, kayaking, swimming and gardening.
Dr. Paul wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as he can remember. He grew up bringing his animals to Baileys and started working here in high school as a member of our kennel crew staff.
He graduated from Oregon State School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and practiced medicine in Wasilla, Alaska for nearly 5 years before returning home to Bailey Veterinary Clinic in 2012.
Within the clinic, Dr.Paul enjoys getting to know his patients with compassion and patience. His special interests include soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, general medicine, and sheep and goat medicine.
Dr. Paul says ,” I enjoy my family time with my wife and 3 children , including our new arrival of twins in January of 2014”. His fur family consists of 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Away from the clinic, his interests include outdoor activities and raising sheep.
Kyle Henrickson, DVM
We were more than ecstatic to welcome Dr. Kyle into the Bailey family in May of 2013. He graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. During the five years prior to Bailey's, he worked as a mixed animal practitioner in Hermiston, Or.
He and his wife Charlene have 2 beautiful sons Rio and Cash. They also have an Australian Shepard mix named Wiley who goes everywhere with them. In their spare time they enjoy hunting, fishing, white water rafting, and many other outdoor activities.
Erin Pugh, DVM
Dr.Erin joined the Bailey family in July of 2014 after graduating from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine.Her favorite area within the clinic is surgery but she excels in everything that she does. She is a great people person” and has excellent communication skills.She has two animal children (a Staffordshire mix-Stella and a cat- Gobbles). Growing up on a family ranch in eastern Oregon, Dr. Erin is no stranger to the great outdoors and in her spare time she enjoys hiking and riding horses. She can also be found reading a good book or catching a movie.
HOLLY SLATER, DVM
Full of energy and ready to take on a new adventure, Dr. Holly joined us in April of 2015, moving here all the way from Utah. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2013 after which she worked in a mixed animal clinic in Moab, Utah.Dr. Holly loves mixed animal veterinary medicine because it allows her to work with all species and broaden her veterinary knowledge. In her free time, you can find her at the top of a mountain, hiking a trail, riding horses or mountain biking. She and her boyfriend have a yellow lab, a Schipperke mix and a very dog like cat. We’re so excited to welcome her to the Bailey family!!
ERIN LANE, DVM
Erin was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. Her love of animals and veterinary medicine started when she was young and surrounded by lots of different critters. She attended veterinary school at Western University in California. She has always wanted to practice mixed animal medicine and is looking forward to every day being new and exciting.
She currently shares her home with a lab mix, two cats and a horse. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors. Her favorite activities include hiking, camping and fishing. She is excited to live in Oregon and can’t wait to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
In July of 2016, Dr. Lane and Benji welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Congrats on the arrival of little Rylee Sofia!
Laura Budd, DVM
Dr. Laura grew up in Vermont surrounded by a wide variety creatures from dairy cows and goats to dogs and cats. Laura ventured out west for veterinary school, graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She will be joining the Bailey family in July, 2017. Laura is excited to start in mixed animal veterinary medicine as she enjoys the variety that comes with caring for both large and small patients.
In her free time you will find her exploring the great outdoors however she can. She particularly enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing. Laura also loves to travel and being involved in theater. Dr. Laura is looking forward to calling Roseburg home and getting to know the community and surrounding area.
Megan Packham, DVM
Dr. Megan joins us after seven years in mixed-animal practice in her hometown of Banks, OR. She is a 2010 graduate of the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine who moved to Roseburg with her husband, David, to help run their family's Angus cattle ranch. In her spare time she competes her horse, Riley, in eventing (equestrian triathlon). She also keeps a house cat named Smudge, a blue heeler (Dusty), and a crew of barn cats at the ranch.
